This and that...

Good night Nurse (1918) Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton "making love", I've been watching the ol' Buster Keaton shorts lately, fun times. but I didn't make this wonderful assortment of the stills someone from Tumblr did, Thanks :)

cool website: Old Hollywood Archives (its not all Hollywood) - stills - photograph portraits, music and what not, for example below...

The Phantom of the Opera (1925)

Patricia Highsmith
I'm reading Strangers on a Train at the mo, and don't hate me for saying this but, I AM looking foward to the 2011(?) adaptation!! if it ever happens. Don't give me wrong I love the Hitchcock version, Robert Walker is magnificent but its Hitch and they pretty much had to water down quite a bit of the books content back in 51' and they drifted away from the book. so today I think a pretty swell film could come out of "Strangers on a train" none of this Psycho 1998 bull crap why remake a good thing and make it exactly the same as its original..

I absolutely love Good night Nurse, mostly because of this scene. Seeing Buster flirting with Roscoe is so funny. This and the crazy dance in the cook are my favourites moments of cinema involving these two.
Just great.
